Job Summary:
Interior Health Authority is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Pharmacy Department's operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care.
Under the supervision of a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for packaging and distributing unit dose medications, maintaining inventory, and performing statistical reporting activities. Your exceptional customer service skills will be essential in providing support to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
We offer casual day shift positions, ranging from 0 to 37.5 hours per week, providing flexibility and opportunities for career growth. Many of our casual on-call positions have evolved into rewarding, long-term careers.
