This is an exciting opportunity for an Events Manager to join Edelman’s regional marketing and communications function that’s responsible for maintaining, and growing Edelman’s brand and reputation.The marketing function works across a range of cross-sector programmes, IP, events, partnerships and employee initiatives. All with the aim to create a pipeline of content across channels and formats that brings fame and recognition to Edelman whilst driving growth through lead generation and engagement with clients and prospects.In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support with the production and management of high value internal and business-to-business events in partnership with the Senior Events Manager. The role is one of two halves, actively supporting our largest market in the UK, whilst providing hands on expertise and best practice to the wider EMEA region and markets including Germany, Spain, Italy and The Middle East.In the UK you’ll work across events of all sizes, both virtual and in person. From large scale panel events to high-end roundtable salon dinners and activations. You’ll also work across internal events, including regional and global Town Halls, IP launches and employee engagement events. Across EMEA you’ll be a key lead in the production and running of regional events, supporting local markets with virtual IP launches and client facing events, as well as supporting EMEA leadership with internal events ensuring we’re communicating our business strategy across the region.

Responsibilities in partnership with the Senior Events Manager

Supporting the management of Edelman UK’s busy event programme (internal and external audiences) ensuring that all events and their content support the business strategy and priorities Organising all aspects of Edelman’s b2b and employee event logistics including technical production, guest invitation and attendance process, programming, content, speaker management and event collateral Producing high-quality events (virtual and in person) consumed live or on demand for an EMEA audience Supporting a programme of events that create opportunities to engage and entertain clients Managing client databases and tracking of event metrics, producing full post-event analysis and collation of attendee feedback Managing internal and guest speakers for panel events Working proactively with internal stakeholders to coordinate attendees, guest list management, invitation process and post-event communication Providing admin support to the team, creating Project Plans, Run of Shows, Briefing Books, and all other event collateral Gathering and creating social content showcasing UK and Global events to build Edelman’s corporate reputation Oversee ‘best practice’ for all Edelman events, staying on top of trends

Requirements:

Experience managing online and in-person events from implementation through to completion in a b2b corporate environment Knowledge of virtual event platforms and a propensity to easily picking up and using digital event platforms and tools ( Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Vimeo, HubSpot, Menti administration skills, including Microsoft Office skills including Teams, Word & Excel Beneficial but not required to have experience of using a CRM for events, such as Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot or Marketo Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills An interest in current affairs agenda and key global trends, particularly on new venues, trends and themes Experience with social media management and content creation Friendly and approachable, with a positive and flexible attitude to work and working hours (some evening work or early mornings with TOIL provided) Strong interpersonal skills, working autonomously and as a team Ability to use own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines in a demanding environment  #LI-IS1
