Job Title: Customer Service Advisor
Duration: 6 months initially but could go permanent.
Company: Warwickshire County Council
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (4pm finish on a Fri)
Location: Remote with occasional office days in Bedworth
Salary: £13.70ph
Start Date: 1st July 2024

What does the job entail?

On behalf of Warwickshire County Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join their Adult Social Care team. This is a high-profile post and would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience within Customer Service.

You will achieve this by:
  • Assessing each case to enable vulnerable people to gain Carers allowance
  • Taking calls from vulnerable people, their families or healthcare professionals
  • Sign posting accordingly and seeking advice Social Workers when required
  • Capturing all the information to open new cases

  • Experience of Customer Service in any sector is essential
  • The ability to have a positive conversation
  • Empathy and resilience due to the nature of the calls
  • Confident to talk and type at the same time
