Bank Operating Department Practitioner/Theatres Staff Nurse – The CherwellHospital – Bank Hours
The Role
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong clinical background in acute surgical care. We are looking for a dynamic and positive individual to ensure the Theatre department is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring, and Well Led.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Theatre team, developing excellent working relationships with staff members, consultants and key stakeholders.
They will assist in driving sustainable excellence in the safety and quality of care and services.
They will support the Quality agenda by monitoring achievements against required standards, identifying risks to quality of care and services and planning, recommending /implementing changes for continuous improvement.
Where you’ll be based
The Cherwell Hospital opened in 2006 and provides convenient, effective, high quality treatment for patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis whether medically insured, self-pay or funded by the NHS. Equipped with an onsite Imaging Department offering X-Ray, Ultrasound and MRI and a dedicated Physiotherapy Unit complete with rehabilitation gym, The Cherwell Hospital is perfectly designed for orthopaedic care.

A strong clinical background. A commitment to the delivery of customer focussed services. Excellent communication and influencing skills. A proven track record and evidence of successfully delivering a change agenda to enhance quality and efficiency. Experience and confidence in effectively meeting compliance to the Governance Framework.
