About theDepartment:

BYD is rapidlyexpanding operations in the UK. The UK Network team are laying thefoundations for the brand by establishing a strong franchiseretailer network. However this is no ordinary Network Developmentrole with the team driving unprecedented network growth targeting80 stores by the end of 2024


AbouttheRole:

As a Network DevelopmentSpecialist you will be pivotal in expanding BYD UKs retailernetwork while supporting and developing our existing stores. Thisrole requires the candidate to be fluent in Chinese able to travelfrequently a valid drivers license and close collaboration withretailers and various departments across the business. Join us tobe part of a rapidly scaling business with ample development andgrowthopportunities.

PrimaryResponsibilities:

  • NetworkGrowth: Assist in identifying screening and managingnew retailer partners to increase market share and enhance brandinfluence.
  • Contract and AgreementManagement: Lead the contracting process for newretailers including document management within the BYDsystem.
  • RetailerRelationships: Maintain close communication withexisting retailers addressing their needs and fostering ongoingcollaboration.
  • RetailerOnboarding: Work with internal departments includingsales marketing logistics and product development to ensureseamless onboarding.
  • MarketAnalysis: Analyse market trends competitoractivities and consumer behaviour to provide insights for refiningnetwork developmentstrategies.
  • Reporting:Monitor and report on key performance indicators and networkdevelopment milestones to the management team and in BYDsystems.


Qualifications:

  • Fluentin both English and Chinese/Mandarin
  • Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration Marketing or a relatedfield.
  • Experience in network developmentdealership management or a similar role preferably within theautomotive industry.
  • Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills.
  • Ability to travelfrequently and hold a valid driverslicense.
  • Strategic thinking and analyticalskills.
  • Resultsoriented mindset focused onachieving targets and expanding marketpresence.
