The IT Network Specialist's role is to maintain and assist in the development of the Cromwell Hospital's network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation and delivery of the organisation's IT systems.

**How you'll help us make health happen**:

- Designing and implementing a network infrastructure based on organizational requirements.
- Installing and configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitoring network performance, system availability, and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems.
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures.
- Conducting regular network maintenance, including updating software and hardware.
- Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures
- Providing network engineering support and training to other team members

**Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role of IT Network Specialist**:

- Minimum of 3 years in a network specialist role
- In-depth understanding of Cisco networking products
- Knowledge of enterprise network best practices
- In-depth experience of Cisco CUCM Call Manager management and configuration
- Experience deploying network appliances
- Knowledge of Palo Alto products
- Extensive experience with network operations, including Cisco Switches, Cisco Router, Cisco DNA, Cisco ISE and wireless infrastructure
- Experience with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, TCP/IP, Authentication Protocols.
