Reporting to the Internal Communications & Engagement Partner, the Internal Communications & Engagement Officer will support the delivery of communications to colleagues. This will include the creation and delivery of engaging communications to ensure colleagues:

Principle accountabilities will require you to

Support delivery of the Group / local airport internal communications strategy to drive quality, effective communication and in turn drive colleague engagement. Assist the Internal Communications & Engagement Partner to create and deliver communication plans for projects and campaigns taking place across the Group / airport, helping to generate awareness and participation among colleagues. Manage communication channels such as our intranet, weekly newsletter, digital screens, face-to-face briefings and events. Write and edit high quality content for a variety of channels. Think creatively to bring communication campaigns to life. Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand priorities across the business and internal communications requirements.

We are therefore looking for someone who has some experience of internal or external communications, marketing or another associated discipline. Ideally you will have worked in a large matrix style organisation, but this is not essential. Attributes we will be looking for include strong communication skills, strong stakeholder management, attention to detail and a flexible "can-do" attitude. These roles have been created to assist our Communications and Engagement Partners, and to do this successfully you will need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help, but also be able to gauge when this is necessary. We operate a hybrid working policy - you will need to be in the office for 3 days per week, with flexible working hours within that. 

The role is based at Manchester Airport, and is permanent.
