Your future duties and responsibilities
As a VIP End-User Computing (EUC) Engineer, you will provide specialised support to VIP and executive-level staff within the organisation. Your role will involve delivering high-quality technical assistance, ensuring seamless operation of IT systems, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Primary point of contact for VIP and executive users for all IT-related issues.
• Offer personalised and prompt technical support, ensuring minimal disruption to VIP users' work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Ensure all devices are up-to-date with the latest software updates and security patches.
• Optimise system performance and reliability to meet the specific needs of VIP users.
• Provide training and guidance to VIP users on IT systems, software, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives, ensuring VIP users' requirements are addressed.
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
• Track and document incidents and resolutions using the organization's ticketing system.
• Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Ensure end-user devices comply with the organization's security policies and procedures.
• Assist in implementing security measures and responding to security incidents.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Experience in end-user computing or IT support, preferably with experience supporting executive-level users.
• Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, mobile device management (MDM), and remote support tools.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
Desirable Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
