Senior Civil Engineer

Position Overview – Senior Civil Engineer

Fawkes & Reece is a distinguished developer recognized for delivering high-end residential projects across the UK.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be an integral member of our Design, Technical & Engineering team, contributing significantly throughout the project lifecycle, from land acquisition through to construction and operational phases.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Civil Engineer:

  • Design and plan roadways, parking facilities, drainage systems, hard landscaping, and temporary structures.
  • Generate earthworks specifications and assess cut/fill volumes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external organizations regarding drainage and highway agreements.
  • Coordinate with contractors on earthworks, demolition, remediation, drainage connections, diversions, and highway projects.
  • Collaborate with geo-environmental consultants for site assessments, remediation strategies, materials management, and site validation processes.

Qualifications for the Senior Civil Engineer:

  • Must be a registered Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively pursuing this qualification.
  • Possess a minimum BEng (Hons) in Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a Lead Civil Engineer with minimal oversight.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant design standards and guidance documentation.
  • Experience in managing statutory agreement applications.
  • Strong technical proficiency coupled with commercial insight.
  • Preferably experienced in utilizing Autodesk software.
