The Transition Manager will co-ordinate, build and deliver training and communication around policy and process changes to achieve seamless implementation and optimal use of the new tool.


Key Responsibilities:

Training

Develop comprehensive training program and materials tailored to various user groups within procurement, supplier management, and stakeholder teams to support implementation.

Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars to ensure all stakeholders are proficient in using the new tool.

Create a repository of training resources, including user manuals, video tutorials, and FAQs for use by the BAU team post project transition.


Communication

Develop and execute a robust communication plan to keep all stakeholder groups informed about the implementation timeline, key milestones, and progress updates.

Facilitate regular meetings and forums to address concerns, gather feedback, and ensure alignment among all teams.

Prepare and distribute clear and concise communication materials including newsletters, emails and presentations.

Act as the central point of contact for all Procurement Tooling related inquiries and communications.


Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with key stakeholders across procurement, supplier management, and stakeholder teams to understand their needs and concerns to feedback into the Programme.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and buy-in for the new tool.
  • Actively manage and mitigate resistance to change through effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Work closely with the project and implementation teams to understand the technical aspects of the tool implementation.


Transition Impact Assessment

  • Conduct change impact assessments to understand the effects of the new tool on current processes and roles.
  • Develop strategies to address and mitigate any negative impacts identified.


Continuous Improvement

Establish mechanisms for ongoing feedback, system changes and continuous improvement post-implementation.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in change/ transition management, preferably in procurement or supplier management.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale technology changes.
  • Proven track record of managing large scale comms roll out.
  • Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with procurement and TPRM technology (specifically ServiceNow) is highly desirable.
  • Transition management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.
