Job Description:
We are currently looking to recruit an individual to support the Rail Divisional Sales Team in what is already a very busy division of Tidyco Ltd.
Initially working internally, you will assist with managing customer order books, contract reviewing order prior to inputting them into our computer system. In time, this will progress to full customer account management.
Responsibilites:
General Administrative Duties:
- Management of system generated reports via access and sage
- Generating and management of quotations
- Managing scheduled orders
- Completing orderbook updates for customers
- Responding to customer enquiries and queries via e-mail and telephone
- Quotations for workshop repairs in conjunction with production planner
- Liaising with suppliers / expediting PO’s
- Managing customer price files / discounts to maximise margin at all times
Rail Division Team Support:
- Assisting with customer projects
- Entering “Bill of materials” and associated data
- Sourcing material and supplier quotations
- Entering part information
- Maintaining accurate records
- Preparation of internal and external reports and documentation including HSE documentation
- Preparation of reports and KPI graphs
Other Responsibilities:
- Assistance to customer service, accounts and purchasing departments
- Liaising between departments
A Company pool car will be made available when the need arises to visit customers.
Skills / Requirements:
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Knowledge within the Rail Industry together with Hydraulic and Pneumatic System / technical support would be an advantage however not essential
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and visitors
- Able to work individually or as part of a team
- Able and willing to draft reports, emails and other related documentation
- Be commercially aware
- Good level of IT ability and a willingness to learn
- Must be able to multi-task
- Able to prioritise workload
- Punctual
