About the Role

As a Support Worker - SEN TA, you will provide essential support to students with SEN in a vibrant and inclusive school in South London. This is a perfect role for someone passionate about education and training who enjoys working in a collaborative environment to improve the lives of students. You'll work closely with teachers, assist in the classroom, and help implement strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to SEN students, ensuring they can engage fully with their education.
  • Assist in planning lessons and activities, tailoring them to suit the needs of SEN students.
  • Work with educational psychologists and SEN coordinators to create and implement personalized plans for each student.
  • Help students develop social skills, build confidence, and thrive both academically and emotionally.
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with SEN best practices.

  • Experience working with SEN students or in a support worker role.
