We are currently looking for a Procurement Compliance Manager to join a global speciality chemicals company based in the East Yorkshire area.


Our client are leaders in their field and continue to spearhead the delivery of innovative, sustainable and high-performance solutions. As such, the Purchasing team play a key role in procuring cost effective materials for production and services for the business.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Your duties as the Procurement Compliance Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:


1. Design, develop, modify, and implement procurement compliance programmes.


2. Ensure legal compliance with various subsections of the EU Net Zero Act (CBAM/EUDR etc.), ethics, competition law, modern slavery, human rights, and conflict minerals.


3. Collaborate with internal teams to procure cost-effective materials and services.


4. Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to influence and drive compliance initiatives.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Procurement Compliance Manager, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:


1. Relevant degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Management.


2. Extensive industry experience in procurement and compliance. This experience will ideally have been gained within the chemicals industry, or closely related field which involves exposure to REACH regulations.


3. A working knowledge and practical experience with negotiation and planning.
