Salary/Pay Rate: £41,4k pa pro rata (PAYE)

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 12 months



Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for providing specialised support to customers/users with technical backgrounds who deal with highly technical or sophisticated products.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, intricate software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
  • Respond to escalated issues where initial product support efforts have failed to isolate or fix problems.
  • Report design flaws, reliability concerns, or maintenance issues to design engineering or software engineering teams.
  • Participate in customer installation and training activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with product support teams and occasionally engage directly with customers when issues exceed the capabilities of first-level support resources.
