We are hiring for Data Analyst for our client's project based at Glasgow, UK - 2 days per week Onsite


Day rates: 345 GBP per day Inside IR35


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Acquisition and Preparation: Extract, cleanse, and transform data from various sources into a suitable format for analysis.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies within data.
  • Data Modelling: Develop statistical and machine learning models to predict future outcomes, identify trends, and optimize business processes.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations to communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into data requirements, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


Essential Skills

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in statistical and data mining techniques, with strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or R.
  • Data Visualization: Ability to create clear and effective data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Data Modelling: Experience in developing statistical and machine learning models.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Desirable Skills

  • Domain Expertise: Knowledge of the specific industry or domain (e.g., finance, healthcare).
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
