Job Summary
To support the Operations Director in delivering operational change for the business and providing 1-2-1 administrative/business support. The Operations Assistant will own the successful delivery of allocated operational targets across a diverse range of insurance classes and teams, and becoming a valuable member of a dynamic, service focussed, and successful team.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
- Provide technical and administrative support to the Operations Director to ensure they are leveraging their time to the maximum.
- Point of contact for all MGA teams within the PWCL Group when Operations Director is not available
- Develop procedures and practices that improve the group-wide operational efficiency.
- Develop a deep understanding of Pine Walk, the various MGA businesses, and the relevant strategy drivers.
Executive Assistance
- Provide full diary management.
- Coordinating schedules, meetings, and appointments.
- Arranging travel and booking accommodation, as required.
- Answering and directing telephone calls.
- Processing monthly expenses.
Report Production
- Format information for effective internal and external communication. For example, prepare reports, briefing notes, Endorsements, and other documents required by operational teams.
- Assist with the management oversight and production of corporate presentations (internal and external) e.g. Security Packs.
General
- Produce timelines and support project management planning review and across any active or planned projects.
- Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners when the Operations Director is in meetings or out of office.
- Any duties your line manager or the PWCL senior management team asks you to carry out relevant to the role.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Strong written and spoken communication skills to enable communication at all levels cross multiple teams.
- Ability to handle a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, research and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work extended hours, as required.
- Background/exposure to project management would be advantageous.

Location
Pine Walk is part of the wider Fidelis Group – with offices across London, Ireland and Bermuda. This role will be based in the London City office. (but may require adhoc travel)
