Collaborating closely with the Business Development Director, the Regional Clinical Partners are tasked with driving effective business planning and account management through a clinically-focused approach. This role is essential in guiding clients toward selecting Farla Medical Healthcare products and services, ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes while meeting agreed-upon sales and market revenue targets. The Clinical Partner (CP) is instrumental in shaping Health and Social Care sales strategies, particularly by fostering the right environment for upcoming product launches, promoting existing products, and accelerating formulary inclusion. This is achieved through high-level clinical support and comprehensive account management.


The role requires building and maintaining both strategic and operational relationships with key Health and Social Care stakeholders to boost Farla Medical Healthcare's revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, the CP collaborates with the Farla team to develop clinical market access tools and support systems, providing valuable field insights to the wound care business unit and Head Office.


The CP is a key player in the account planning process, creating the optimal environment for positive adoption and implementation of formularies and guidelines. By leveraging partnerships with senior Health and Social Care stakeholders, the CP helps position Farla Medical Healthcare as a preferred industry partner, innovating access for target accounts and achieving formulary inclusion.


This role is ideal for an experienced clinician with a passion for success and enthusiasm for promoting and supporting clinical choices within the Farla product range (specifically Wound Care), while also identifying cross-selling opportunities within Farla Medical Healthcare's offerings.


Responsibilities:


- Engage with a customer base that includes Tissue Viability Nurses, Podiatrists, Leg Ulcer Specialists, ICBs, Locality Leads, board members, policy decision-makers, APC members, commissioners, and regional procurement committee members.

- Support and develop clinical papers, posters, and marketing materials/tools.

- Collaborate with AHSN networks, non-medical prescribing leads, nursing officers, TVN Managers, quality assurance leads, and patient safety and integrated governance members of CICs.

- Implement a regional market access strategy to drive formulary inclusion.

- Identify profitable business opportunities and manage regional market access plans.

- Develop and manage regional account formulary development plans.

- Demonstrate comprehensive NHS knowledge within key indication areas.

- Meet agreed metrics and SFE standards while adhering to relevant policies.

- Promote and develop regional/national product advocates.

- Collaborate with the Farla Medical team to drive sales and best practices in accounts.

- Focus primarily on activities involving policy decision-makers and drivers.

- Maintain expert-level NHS knowledge.

- Identify and implement projects centered around NHS work streams, Quality, Efficiencies, and ICB/LAT needs that will lead to increased access and revenue.

- Maintain a working knowledge of key NHS and Social Care drivers.


Context:


This role is part of the Farla Medical Healthcare Wound Management business unit. As the regional clinical expert, you will be the "go-to" person in the Wound and Skin Care business for clinical and product information and support. A thorough understanding of the Health and Social Care agenda, National Wound Care Strategy, and Med Tech Directive is essential.


To excel in this role, you will need exceptional clinical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, as you will be expected to identify opportunities and contribute to the development of Farla Medical Healthcare’s Clinical Partnership toolkit. Competence in solution selling, active listening, and tailoring bespoke solutions to meet customer needs is crucial.


Skills and Qualifications:


Essential:


- Registered Nurse with a degree-level qualification and Tissue Viability experience.

- Excellent clinical skills (Tissue Viability Qualification).

- Strategic thinking in relation to commercial offerings.

- Strong presentation and planning skills.

- Ability to build trust and command respect.

- A highly ethical approach to business.

- Proven ability to deliver and drive results (clinical and revenue-focused).


Desirable:


- Previous sales experience.

- Experience in Tissue Viability/Wound Management at band 6.

- Successful key account management or business development background, ideally within Wound Care.

- Proven budgeting and targeting experience.

- In-depth knowledge of the current NHS structure, potential organizational changes, and business methods.
