The Role: If you are a highly driven, results focussed, motivational team manager looking to join a fantastic, market leading organisation, then this could be the right opportunity for you The successful Customer Service Manager will be responsible for managing all elements of the customer service function, for all clients that are serviced by the local regional depot; from pricing, to making sure all enquiries/complaints are dealt with, to ensuring that customer SLA's are adhered to, to making sure that existing clients are being carefully looked after and any potential further opportunities within are being capitalised on. This role will offer huge amounts of variety.


Your team will be managing an account base from a wide range of sectors including hospitality, leisure, education, the public sector i.e. police/prisons, healthcare & manufacturing, who rely on the business to supply them with one or all of their services on offer which are workwear rental/laundry, linen rental/laundry, washroom & hygiene Services and some complimentary add on's, and will be made up of internally based customer service agents & field based account managers.


While there is a heavy focus on ensuring that the customers are well looked after, and any issues they have are resolved, you will also be highly commercially focused - looking at client retention, maximisation, and improving margins. Reporting directly to the Depot General Manager your role will be highly influential, with significant responsibility and management of your own P&L, working closely with the senior management team across all key functions to improve the day to day running of the depot and profitability all round.

This role will require some external visits to clients but predominantly based from the depot in South Wales.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria for this Customer Service Manager vacancy:


  • A proven track record in managing a sales team - either field based or internal
  • Ability to demonstrate strong coaching & development skills, and all aspects of team management i.e. Performance management/Reviews/PDP's, training plans, setting incentives & reporting.
  • You will be highly commercially focussed, outgoing, energetic, positive and engaging with a supportive approach


Salary: £45-50k OTE 15%, Mobile, Laptop, iPad, 25 days holidays + BH


Area: Based from the office in South Wales.
