What are we looking for?


  • Experience of working in a busy HR team with a business partnering model
  • Strong experience in HR operations and HR process improvements
  • Proactive attitude – we’re looking for someone who is curious and eager to share their ideas and turn this into action
  • Strong understanding and experience of the full employee lifecycle, typical HR processes and progressive approaches
  • Experience of working with HR data to create meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Good understanding of UK employment law
  • Excellent communication skills – this is a people business and building relationships is key
  • Experience in a similar size business (c. 500 people) and from within a revenue generating business industry like Recruitment would be a plus



What will you be responsible for?

You’ll contribute to this by evolving our employee experience at every point. We’ve got foundations in place but this is a career opportunity for someone who wants to elevate our current offering from good to industry leading


Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining our HR system (currently HiBob) ensuring that the user experience is top notch, our org structures and employee records are accurate and our reporting capability is the best it can be.
  • Manage the onboarding an offboarding of employees, including issuing employee contracts, carrying out onboarding checks and issuing leaver letters and references.
  • Liaise with Finance on employee changes such as starters, changes, leavers and promotions
  • Manage our benefits to ensure strong engagement from employees and providers. Championing what we have to offer, creating and maintaining our documentation and keeping communications creative
  • Proactively work with the wider People and Culture Team to ensure our employee experience at all phases of career is market leading. Ensuring we have competitive and culturally supportive policies, guides, benefits and ways of working
  • Interpreting our people data to create meaningful insight that aids both the wider People team and our leaders.
  • Offering clear guidance and support to employees and leaders on all people related topics
