Bidding Limited is an award-winning bid and tender consultancy based in Edinburgh and Leeds that assists UK-wide local, regional and national organisations in delivering business growth by creating winning bids and proposals.


We manage and deliver bids and tenders on behalf of clients within dozens of sectors across the UK and Ireland. We are values driven and have industry leading 80%+ win rates and now, in our 10th year of operation, are continuing to grow and expand.


Role Description:

The successful applicant will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced workplace, who works well as part of a team, has good attention to detail, a love of words, good communication skills and a desire to succeed.


The role can be remote, hybrid or office based. It is likely that the successful candidate will live within traveling distance of our central Edinburgh or Leeds offices for office/hybrid working, however our focus is on finding the best suited candidate, wherever they may live within the UK, and a fully remote working arrangement may be considered for the right person.


As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality bids and proposals that address the needs of decision-makers in response to competitive tenders in both the public and private sectors.


You will manage the bid process from start to finish, taking ownership for the bid and liaising and communicating effectively with both internal and external (client) stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy throughout the process.


You will have at least one year of experience in a similar bid writing role.


Qualifications


  • Good written and spoken English language skills
  • Proven experience in writing compelling bids or proposals in a highly competitive market
  • Familiarity with the public and/or private sector tender process, standards, and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good time management
  • Self-motivated
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with interpreting complex information and data and presenting it in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
