At Stericycle, our Sales Account Executives have the crucial role of keeping our key customers satisfied with their services. Your role will see manage existing customers from all over the UK with the task of growing revenue by nurturing these relationships. You’ll talk to customers about our Regulated Waste and Compliance Solutions to deliver on our mission of Protecting What Matters.


We deal in waste compliance solutions, that means the disposal and recycling of clinical waste and supporting businesses in effective policy and process solutions. It’s a necessary part of the supply chain for hospitals, labs, dentists, tattoo artists, and private healthcare settings amongst many others and as such, you’ll be a key member of our commercial team.


Key responsibilities


  • Using SalesForce (our CRM) you’ll manage a portfolio of existing customers and be tasked with growing these accounts. That’s effectively building relationships and keeping our customers engaged.
  • You’ll sell our suite of Regulated Waste & Compliance Services by discovering needs, making recommendations, and providing bespoke solutions to business all over the UK.
  • You’ll be the subject matter expert for your allocated customers, providing support, delivering on promises, keeping your customers up to date with any market changes and upselling our services.

  • You’ll be commercially aware, that means having the ability to think on your feet and deliver a profitable proposal to a customer that meets internal guidelines.
  • You’ll be empowered to grow revenue from your portfolio so understanding “the how” is crucial.
  • You’ll have targets to achieve, so being focused on them will be key to your ongoing success.
  • Being organised and self-aware is essential Following up on promises to customers, understanding your customers needs, and being consistently forward thinking in planning your day/week/month ahead is vital.


How you’ll demonstrate your ability


  • You’ll have a proven track record of commercial success. (This could be in a Sales Account Management role (or similar) or another role or experience that shows this).
  • You’ll ideally have experience in B2B sales or strong B2C success, but success comes in different forms, if you’re passionate and driven for a career in sales, we want to hear from you.
