Job Title: Senior Solutions Consultant
My client is looking for a confident, collaborative and communicative Solutions/Pre-Sales consultant who is seasoned in presenting to senior stakeholders and holds this maturity in their communication and skillset.
This person must have level B2+ or higher German language skills, both oral and written as this position is dealing with clients across Germany and Switzerland.
The ideal candidate would come from a business consultancy, selling software products into banks or financial institutions. It is a plus for the client if this person is seasoned in payments and financial messaging.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Be the functional expert on Payment & Financial Messaging applications and present the value proposition to customers and prospects.
- Combine technical market knowledge with customer influencing skills to achieve sales success.
- Act as a key advisor/leader of strategic deals, positioning combined company products as a differentiated proposition.
- Support and tailor regional specific and global campaigns, driving value proposition and execution.
- Establish credibility with the client, analyse the client’s need and position the company product modules and release features appropriately to ease the sales process and optimize efficiency.
- Prepare RFI/RFPs replies to assure the solution is presented according to the key criteria of the prospect/client.
- Collaborate with sales representatives throughout the lifecycle of the sales campaign, including exploratory meetings, demonstrations, workshops, system audits and gap analysis to assure consistency of messages.
- Manage opportunity and bid qualification assessment and coordinate key internal stakeholders involved in the sales process.
- Develop/adapt advanced sales strategies to unique customer needs, create customer partnerships, and cross-sell Payments Products to the customer.
Required Experience:
- 5-10 years payments experience (bank, consulting firm or solution provider).
- Strong client focus and impeccable professional integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree desirable.
- Demonstrable Payment & Financial Messaging experience, ideally as an ex-banker or experience in the company payments solutions such as GPP or an equivalent vendor’s software.
- Detailed knowledge of Payment Processing operations. Knowledge of front office and associated products beneficial.
- Leadership skills.
- Proficiency in English and German.
