Business Development Manager

Macgregor Black is working with a leading foodservice company, looking for a Business Development Manager. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Bristol with travel as needed.


Key Responsibilities


  • Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, as well as trust-based connections with customers.
  • Gain a deep understanding of your markets, including competitors, customer needs, and local trends, to provide actionable insights.
  • Assist the Business Development Directors in crafting and executing joint business plans with customers to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing Manager and Application Lead to implement brand campaigns and successful product demonstrations.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, leveraging your skills to articulate key points.
  • Refine processes and ways of working to maintain our competitive edge.
  • Manage forecasting and account planning to ensure top-notch service delivery to customers.


What are we looking for?


  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with importers and distributors.
  • Experience in foodservice is desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and driving growth.
