As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced, dynamic Sales & Business Development Manager who will lead the Tache sales function and be responsible for meeting the company’s ambitious revenue and growth goals.


In this dual role, as well as providing leadership for the Tache sales team, defining and executing the sales strategy, you will be personally responsible for driving growth through the acquisition of new key customers.


This is an exciting and demanding role, suited to someone who is capable of both setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to deliver it.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Use data and market/customer research to analyse performance, refine sales tactics, and improve processes
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor sales performance and provide reports for senior management
  • Lead, coach and motivate other sales team members to meet and exceed sales targets.

Business Development:

  • Develop a New Account acquisition strategy, building and refining strategies for acquiring new clients, including identifying key markets and target accounts
  • Develop tailored and compelling sales proposals to meet the specific needs of each potential new client
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage contract/portfolio renewals
  • Build long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with creative, marketing, operations and customer support colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Provide feedback to the business on customer needs and market trends


Requirements:


  • Demonstrated success in strategic sales management
  • Experience in managing and growing major accounts
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor a sales team, driving performance and results
  • Strong analytical skills to forecast sales and measure performance
  • Experience in publishing or FMCG markets would be beneficial
  • A positive, energetic presence, with a desire to be part of the office dynamic, thriving on in-person interactions and the collective energy of our team
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) and MS Office, with a focus on Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred


Our Offer:

  • Competitive base salary of £45 – 50K, depending on experience
  • Generous uncapped bonus scheme, linked to meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Hybrid working model, with 3 days a week in the office to collaborate and connect
  • 4.5-day work week, with Friday afternoons off to recharge and relax
  • 26 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and a statutory pension contribution
