Job Description


As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements. This role combines the responsibilities of both a Compliance Analyst and a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, making it a key position within our compliance team. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance with FCA regulations, assisting with regulatory reporting, and ensuring that our operations remain aligned with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor and ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies across all business functions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely regulatory reports to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews and risk assessments, identifying areas of improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with finance, risk, and operations teams to gather necessary data for regulatory reporting and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintain and update compliance and regulatory reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they meet current regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, advising the business on necessary adjustments to remain compliant.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify any discrepancies or potential issues in compliance and regulatory reporting.
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries from auditors and regulators.
  • Prepare internal reports for senior management and the board of directors, highlighting compliance status and regulatory reporting trends.



Qualifications


  • Proven experience in compliance or regulatory reporting, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel and regulatory reporting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • A degree in finance, law, compliance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Banking as a Service (BaaS) products or card schemes is a plus.
