About The Role:

Our valued client, a reputable and highly regarded interior design practice, is currently seeking a thorough and experienced HR Manager to join their esteemed London Studio.

Within this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to the execution of people-related processes, shaping the vision and strategy across the company. The role will work closely with the senior leadership team yet requires a level of autonomy, requiring you to demonstrate exceptional decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process including advertising, interviewing, and selection
  • Handle all aspects of employee documentation e.g. job contracts and offer letters
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide support to managers in this process
  • Manage and monitor employee absences
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • Collaborate with departments to create and implement strategic HR plans aligned with business goals
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and ensure compliance
  • Maintain regular communication with the wider HR and admin teams
  • Provide weekly updates to the management team

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working within a HR context
  • Proficient in HR principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Adaptable and capable of handling highly confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
  • Previous experience in a creative HR position in an SME would be beneficial
