Our client, a highly established oil and gas services company based North of Aberdeen City, are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties will include:
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement Team Lead as and when required.
- Ensure purchase requisitions for parts, consumables, services and hires are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Provide holiday cover for Procurement Team Lead/Logistics when required.
- Liaise with vendors and maintain/update records for all approved suppliers - telephone/email/teams meetings.
- Processing priced and unpriced purchase requisitions for consumables, services & hires, and ensure best lead time is achieved.
- Send approved purchase orders to vendors once finalized.
- Support with new vendor requests/revalidating vendor certification.
- Supporting with any delivery discrepancies and solving in a timely manner.
- Supporting finance with any invoice queries at month end.
- Participation in project kick off meetings, project close offs, daily gemba meetings via teams.
- Participation & support with quarterly vendor evaluation meetings.
- Updating ERP System system with any new delivery dates to ensure this is kept up to date.
Experience needed
- Highly motivated with the ability to motivate others.
- Computer literate, including MS Office suite
- Experience with dealing with people.
- Understanding of Health Safety and the Environment.
