Job Title: Head of Sales
Location: Midlands headquarters, with the option for remote work
Salary and Benefits: £100-150k base +OTE and benefits
We are hiring for a Head of Sales for a leading cybersecurity solutions provider. This role is based at their Midlands headquarters but offers flexibility for remote work. The Head of Sales will be instrumental in leading the sales team to achieve company sales order targets, managing and developing sales strategies, and enhancing the company's presence with existing customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team, allocating territories, setting targets, and monitoring performance.
- Consolidate individual territory forecasts into a weekly order forecast report.
- Define direct sales strategies, develop campaigns, and achieve sales objectives.
- Maintain efficient systems and procedures for recording, tracking, and prosecuting sales.
- Act as a business development resource to enhance the company's presence.
- Organise regular sales meetings and brief sales staff on departmental and company developments.
- Participate in exhibitions and conferences, generating sales leads for the company's products and services.
- Recruit, train, and manage sales and BD staff, ensuring their professional skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Current experience and customer contacts at the highest level in Defence/core markets.
- Holds minimum of SC clearance or able to achieve this
- Ability to understand the technical complexities of the company's products.
- Proven experience in both business development and sales, setting sales strategies, and plans.
- Commercial understanding with the ability to articulate different pricing models.
- Track record of bringing new products to market.
- Leadership team experience with strong people management skills.
- Ability to navigate and manage complexity internally and externally.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
- Excellent people coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong relationship builder with the ability to motivate self and others.
