The Head Pastry Chef must have:


  • The motivation and leadership skill to represent the Gordon Ramsay Brand and its world class hospitality standards
  • Previous experience as a Head Pastry Chef within a premium high-volume quality restaurant, either independent or part of a 5-star hotel
  • A solid understanding of classic cooking methods and seasonality, as well as an ability to innovate and create
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure delivery of the standards and the highest levels of food quality at all times
  • A proven track record of recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining a high performing kitchen team
  • A strong personality, with confidence and enthusiasm to lead the team in the day to day running of the kitchen
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written – to ensure clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage relationships at all levels


What you do as a Head Pastry Chef:


  • You manage the day-to-day operation of the pastry section, taking responsibility for the perfect execution of all dishes
  • You have a deep understanding of the classic method as well as an ability to innovate
  • You are passionate about leading, developing, and motivating the brigade – sharing your knowledge and passion to inspire
  • You are a clear communicator and an excellent team player
