Ecommerce Web Manager


We are working on a retained, exclusive basis with one of our fantastic clients. This is a unique opportunity to join a multi-channel business with routes to market in retail, fine wine, and trade, based in London.


Position Overview:


As an Ecommerce Web Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our clients' website. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring seamless functionality, driving continuous improvement & performance analysis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain multiple Magento-based websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers, to implement website enhancements, updates, and new features.
  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Responsible for an annual ecommerce sales budget - forecasting, strategically planning and delivering the required sales.
  • Oversee website uploads and landing page development.
  • Working within Magento software for the website build, maintenance, and performance.
  • Make sure there is web security in place to prevent cyberattacks, hackers etc


Qualifications:


  • Solid knowledge and understanding of ecommerce & digital selling of products online
  • Experience with Google marketing/analytics tools
  • Data analytics experience, being able to report on these
  • SEO, PPC & CMS
  • ERP systems knowledge
  • Experience with Magento/similar
  • BI tools experience
