As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's infrastructure, ensuring all facilities are in optimal condition. You will coordinate with other departments, and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure a superior guest experience.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimisedowntime and extend the life of equipment.
- Manage and lead the maintenance team, providing training and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Maintain an inventory of necessary tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures effectively.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a high-end hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. We use contractors for the majority of our work so practical knowledge not essential.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong organisationaland time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
