Job Title: Maintenance Shift Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and support tasks on high-speed automated equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot faults, implementing solutions to improve machine reliability and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Proven track record of identifying and resolving complex maintenance issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff and management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime as required.
