Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Data Manager for an initial 5 month contract on a rate between £500-£550/day (inside IR35)


Responsibilities:


- Leading management of data sets, updates and amendments to supplier records on the organisation’s Oracle finance system and the team of 6 data officers.

- Leading management of the team of 3 responsible for the data accuracy and data entry or Contract Purchase Agreement (CPA) and Smart Form (SF) records on the organisation’sOracle finance system.

- Tracking progress of deliverables to report to the Purchase to Pay (P2P) Delivery Manager and P2P Workstream Lead.

- Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Workstream Lead or Delivery Manager


Essential Skills:


- Management expertise of a team, developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and procedures

- Excellent IT skills, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.

- Good working knowledge of MS Outlook

- Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy

- Strong administration skills - ability to prioritise competing tasks and workloads


Desirable Skills:


- MS Excel expertise including lookups or vlookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting/countifs/sumifs/formula including nested/textjoin or concatenation formula
