Position Overview: As the Lead Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and analysing data across various platforms, with a particular focus on SharePoint and Confluence. You will lead a team of analysts to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of our data repositories. This role requires a deep understanding of data management best practices, proficiency in SQL and other relevant tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for key stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee data analysis projects, ensuring they are completed on time.
  • Develop and maintain data models and databases in SharePoint and Confluence, optimising for performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, providing guidance on best practices and technical expertise.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and interpretation to identify trends and patterns.
  • Create and present reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Continuously monitor and improve data quality and integrity across platforms.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a data analysis role, with a track record of leading successful data projects.
  • Expertise in SharePoint and Confluence, including data modelling, administration, and integration.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets; knowledge of Python, R, or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
