ABOUT THE ROLE:


We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our award-winning New Business & Marketing team to help VCCP reach and engage with prospective clients as well as exceptional talent and our wider community. This candidate will manage all of our digital channels, working across VCCP Group to ensure our work and expertise are showcased to the highest standard, demonstrating the breadth of VCCP’s capabilities, thought leadership, and culture.

In this role, you will confidently plan, commission and execute organic content across our website and all our five social channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads and TikTok). You’ll maximise trends, tentpole events, launches and other cultural moments, across social, short form, video & owned platforms. You’ll run our paid activity across LinkedIn as well as help launch our CRM system next year. You’ll manage and update our Global website, working closely with other departments and offices on content and UX updates. You’ll lead on our SEO/SEM strategy, working with the brand & content team to develop compelling creative and cross-channel content. You will work closely with our Content Creator as well as central UK teams across Creative, Content Production, Creator Strategy, Data, as well as our international offices to create digital marketing campaigns for the work we produce across the agency, and our news and thought leadership. You’ll be working side by side with our senior management team managing our global advocacy programme and ensuring that we’re building an engaged community with our community management.

Ultimately you’ll help to manage and grow our brand and sub brands presence on our digital and social platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice as well as bringing a commercial mindset to campaign activity to drive acquisition, conversion and retention.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Channels and Strategy


  • Managing our company website, ensuring best practice and that content is regularly updated
  • Developing innovative ways to feature our work, client campaigns, news, people, and initiatives outside of campaign moments
  • Designing approaches and commissioning assets to share VCCP’s news announcements and key events
  • Working with colleagues to commission content and series for digital channels, briefing internal and external people on creating content for VCCP channels
  • Managing a calendar of VCCP’s internal and external activities to share across channels
  • Managing key internal and external relationships to ensure content is gathered, planned and delivered in a timely manner
  • Ensuring brand consistency across content on VCCP’s website and social channels, namely in copy through tone, voice and terminology
  • Overseeing sign off on all copy and assets, from internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing strategies for digital content, campaigns and channels for VCCP Group agencies
  • Work closely with the PR team on planned and reactive activity
  • Work alongside our global counterparts on current campaigns, ensuring efforts are aligned and sharing best practice.


Community Management and Advocacy


  • You will set the tone for our online communications as well as be responsible for our community management
  • Write content to share through select VCCP senior management social media profiles, developing clear ways of working that can be used across the global Group
  • Establish regular communication with international offices to ensure that global campaigns and news are shared throughout the network
  • Work in Oktopost, our social advocacy tool, to run campaigns for all agency staff
  • Flag important industry events (or initiatives) that our clients or agency talent should have a presence at, putting them forward for speaking opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of our top 20 senior clients’ social profiles and engaging with them
  • Identify key industry influencers and journalists to engage with on social media platforms engaging in conversation where relevant
  • Carry out BAU by ensuring all our new creative campaigns are shared out across all channels, with senior management, and other key stakeholders across the agency
  • Monitor social media for opportunities to engage, and negative activity requiring a response


Reporting and Analysis


  • Use analytics tools to identify trends and campaign opportunities early, across multiple platforms and markets
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of campaigns to carry on building our strategy
  • Working with our tools to compile social media and content performance reports, summarising key points to share with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to read into metrics and act accordingly will be a key part of this role, using analytics to establish cadence and consistency to ensure we hit the optimal times for posting


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


  • You are a confident self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • You are used to working with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels and can give advice on best practice
  • You have a ready-to-go organic and paid ads experience and expertise across digital platforms and channels and will use tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager and social listening to help influence the overall marketing strategy and make informed decisions
  • You have experience in community management and engagement, with the ability to foster a positive and active community around a brand or product
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including social media management, email marketing platforms, SEO/SEM, and content management systems
  • You have excellent attention to detail, writing skills and sound editorial judgement
  • You have experience of project management and working to multiple deadlines
