Are you an experienced parts sales engineer and looking for a new challenge???


Our client is a leading provider of port crane solutions with a commitment to excellence and innovation, they deliver solutions to optimise port operations worldwide.


A new opportunity has arisen within our client's international parts department for a Parts Sales Engineer to support the business working alongside Parts Sales Advisors to start to understand the role, and progressing to work side-by-side with the current Senior Technical Parts Sales Engineer


The successful candidate will join the company to support the current parts staff and to share our work ethic and ambition to deliver the highest quality customer support, whilst growing their own product knowledge to offer a complete sales and procurement service.


Key Duties:

• Administration and Data Entry

• Handling technical enquiries through to sales, purchasing and invoice

• Tend to telephone calls and e-mail enquiries

• Work to deadlines

• Ability to work under pressure

• Liaison with both customers and suppliers

• Assisting with Documentation - Document Packs

• Support HSQE activities, controls and procedures

• Attention to Detail

• Occasional opportunity for CAD drawings

• Review of items sourced/requested for safety engineering

• Dealing with worldwide customers and suppliers

• Cross Referencing

• Compliance Understanding

• Business Development

• Customer Follow ups

• Ad-hoc duties


Basic Requirements:

• University Degree in Engineering OR time spent in Engineering Role

• Numerate and Literate

• IT Literate (MS Office/CAD)

• Customer service orientated

• Technical understanding

• Good work ethic

• Dedication

• Willingness to learn


Preferred Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering

• Sales

• Procurement

• Cross Referencing

• Account Management

• Automotive/Engineering/Mechanical sales
