Role Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable Field Sales Representative, with B2B experience, to join our Solar Division. The ideal candidate will have the ability to convey complex solutions to stakeholders across a range of knowledge levels, from simple explanations, through to detailed technical discussions.


Our approach to selling solar at Path Energy is extremely consultative - we don’t do ‘pushy’ sales, instead focusing on adding value to our potential clients, with innovative solution and a free of charge assessment and viability study. The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for visiting potential clients, from pre-qualified engaged leads, demonstrating a bespoke proposal to the client and talking them through the financial and environmental benefits of our solution, and then conducting an on-site rooftop drone survey and electrical infrastructure review (training will be provided if needed).


Typically, this roll will be on the road 4 days a week, with Fridays spent in the office, collaborating closely with our delivery team, to ensure that the projects sold make it through to a smooth install, delivering outstanding customer satisfaction


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B field sales of a hardware solution
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and touchpoints with clients over a six month sale cycle
  • Consistency in CRM data input and updates
  • Valid Full UK Driver’s License
  • Experience with an ROI driven capex investment (beneficial but not required)


Job Package


  • £45-55k base salary
  • OTE commission £30-40k (uncapped)
  • Car allowance of £600 per month
