  • Communication: Clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of data models and analytics outcomes.
  • Problem Solving & Planning: Anticipate challenges, plan for contingencies, and identify alternative solutions to complex data-related issues. Effectively analyse and address both the immediate and broader impacts of data modeling decisions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in technology and data modeling, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve and evolve your skills.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data modeling, data analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
  • Broad knowledge of financial products and markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with others within and across teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly express complex technical concepts.
  • Proactive thinking with the ability to anticipate questions, plan for contingencies, and find alternative solutions.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and see the bigger picture.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data warehousing and experience in developing physical and logical data models.
  • Experience with test-driven development and unit testing.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM or similar agile methodologies.
  • Experience in financial modeling using CDM, FPML, Rosetta DSL.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field or other professional qualifications.
