Our client, a c.£15bn fund manager is looking for a Sales Director to help build their presence in the DACH region. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Sales for the company and be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients within the DACH region. The role will require the individual to bring their existing investor relationships to help in building out the region further and contribute to the overall sales strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to make their mark and help to expand the firms fundraising capabilities across the DACH region. With ample opportunities for development and generous compensation, this isn't an opportunity to be missed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the DACH region head to ensure existing client relationships are maintained as well as developing new relationships
  • Engagement with all relevant investors in the territory to understand their specific strategic investment priorities and preferences
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues within the company

Skills and Requirements:

  • Full time role based in London (essential); relocation will be considered for exceptional candidates
  • Native/Fluent in German (essential)
  • An existing network of client relationships across the DACH region and a track record of asset raising (essential), preferably Institutional and/or Family Offices and must have a strong network in Switzerland particularly
  • The ability to be a generalist advisor who can structure bespoke solutions for clients (essential)
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent inter-personal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a wider team
  • A high degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially minded
