Job Overview

The E-commerce Fulfilment & Website Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire e-commerce fulfilment process, including inventory management, shipping, and order processing, while simultaneously managing the technical aspects of the website. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented leader who can balance warehouse operations with the smooth functioning of the company’s e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate has a background in both logistics and website administration and is comfortable with managing both physical and digital workflows.



Key Responsibilities


Fulfilment & Operations Management

  • Oversee daily fulfilment operations, ensuring orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
  • Manage and lead fulfilment teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to streamline the shipping process
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve fulfilment efficiency, accuracy, and reduce costs
  • Ensure optimal inventory management, tracking stock levels, and reducing shrinkage or stock outs
  • Monitor KPIs and fulfilment data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety regulations and company policies


Website Administration & Optimisation

  • Oversee day-to-day management of the company’s e-commerce website, ensuring it runs smoothly and meets customer needs
  • Update product listings, pricing, and promotional content in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any website performance issues, including site speed, checkout problems, and functionality errors
  • Work with developers and external partners to implement updates, new features, and integrations with other systems.
  • Monitor website analytics to assess user behaviour, identifying areas for optimisation and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Ensure the website is secure, regularly backed up, and complies with relevant privacy and legal standards.
  • Maintain mobile responsiveness and optimise site navigation to improve the overall user journey.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, IT, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce fulfilment, logistics, or website administration
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of optimising operations
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.
  • Proficiency with website content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce fulfilment tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with web development teams or agencies
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools
