The opportunity for you

Taylor Wessing is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our Real Estate team in London.

Working alongside Partners, Associates, Knowledge Lawyers, Trainees and fellow Paralegals, you will be a key team player using your own initiative and organisational skills to meet key deadlines.

Key responsibilities
  • • Set up and management of data rooms
  • • Assisting with file opening procedures including preparing the first draft of the retainer letter and ensuring compliance with money laundering procedures
  • • Obtaining Office Copy Entries
  • • Undertaking and tracking searches
  • • Dealing with Land Registry and SDLT applications
  • • Checking and scheduling deeds and creating deeds schedules
Knowledge, skills and experience
  • • Have completed a Law degree (2:1 and above), PGDL or have previous Paralegal / CILEx experience
  • •You will have excellent time management and organisational skills
  • •Proven experience of working under pressure, demonstrating the ability to prioritise work effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholder expectations are managed appropriately
  • •You will have exceptional attention to detail, proactively identifying discrepancies and always striving to deliver work to the highest standard
