Role Overview:

The Global People Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the HR strategy across Marva Group’s international operations. The Global People Manager will oversee all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and compliance with local labor laws. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to driving HR initiatives that align with the company’s global business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
  • Develop and implement global HR strategies that align with Marva Group’s business goals and promote a unified company culture across all regions.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Talent Management:
  • Lead global talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the recruitment of high-caliber professionals across all regions.
  • Develop and implement succession planning and talent development programs to nurture future leaders within the organization.
  • Oversee global onboarding processes to ensure consistency and a positive experience for new hires across all locations.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by driving employee engagement initiatives across all regions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to regional HR teams and business leaders on employee relations issues, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Implement strategies to enhance employee retention and job satisfaction.
  • Performance Management:
  • Oversee the global performance management process, ensuring that all employees receive regular feedback and have clear development plans.
  • Partner with managers to address performance issues and implement appropriate improvement plans.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across all regions, including the UK, ROI, India, South Africa, and the US.
  • Oversee global HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date, legally compliant, and aligned with best practices.
  • Manage and mitigate HR-related risks, including handling sensitive employee relations issues with discretion.
  • Learning and Development:
  • Design and implement global learning and development programs that address the needs of employees at all levels, from entry-level to leadership.
  • Partner with regional HR teams to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training initiatives.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting:
  • Utilize HR analytics to monitor key HR metrics and provide insights to senior leadership on workforce trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on HR activities and initiatives to the executive team.
  • Global Collaboration:
  • Work closely with regional HR teams to ensure alignment of HR practices and initiatives across all regions.
  • Facilitate cross-regional collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive best practices in HR management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is highly desirable.
  • Experience:
  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a global or regional HR management role.
  • Proven experience managing HR functions in multiple countries, particularly in the UK, ROI, India, South Africa, and the US.
  • Strong understanding of international labor laws, employment practices, and cultural nuances.
  • Experience in the recruitment industry is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
