Job Title: Director of Human Resources Operations

Reports to: Chief Global HR Officer


About the Role:


We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources Operations to lead the transformation of HR processes and systems, with a strong focus on change management and the successful implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role is key to driving operational excellence across the HR function, ensuring we deliver efficient, scalable, and data-driven HR services that align with our business goals.


As the Head of HR Operations, you will lead a team of HR professionals and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to redesign and enhance our HR operations. You’ll focus on modernizing our systems, driving process improvements, and ensuring the smooth integration of our new HRIS. Your leadership will be pivotal in delivering a seamless, employee-centered experience while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


Change Management:

  • Lead the change management efforts for HR process transformation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for HR, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Identify potential risks and resistance points; develop strategies to mitigate them.


HR Operations:

  • Oversee all HR operational functions, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Standardize and optimize HR processes across the organization to increase efficiency and improve service delivery.
  • Establish and maintain HR operational metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of HR processes.
  • Manage the HR operations team, providing leadership, coaching, and development opportunities.


HRIS Implementation & Systems Integration:

  • Ensure the HRIS meets the business’s needs for reporting, data management, and employee self-service functionalities.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure successful system integration with other business systems (e.g., payroll, time and attendance).


Process Improvement & Automation:

  • Identify opportunities to automate routine HR processes and reduce manual work.
  • Evaluate and implement HR technologies that enhance the employee experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of HR systems and processes, keeping up to date with industry best practices.


Data & Analytics:

  • Lead the development of an HR analytics capability, enabling data-driven decision-making across HR functions.
  • Provide insights and reporting on key HR metrics, including turnover, retention, time to hire, and employee engagement.
  • Use data to inform strategic workforce planning and performance management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in HR operations management, with a strong focus on systems and process improvement.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives, particularly in relation to system implementations and process reengineering.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.


Preferred Skills:

  • Project Management: Experience with HR project management
  • Process Improvement: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of HR technologies and their impact on employee experience and HR efficiency.
