  • An ability to identify gaps in the current control structure and supporting the design and implementation of new controls to address these
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to develop a good rapport with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player as well as work independently
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills and able to work to deadlines.

Key responsibilities

  • Communication with key stakeholders including representatives from Member firms regarding systems processes and controls and matters arising from monitoring and remediation
  • Periodic review and reconciliation of objectives, risks and controls and assessing the impact on testing programs across the Member firms
  • Facilitating in the testing of controls, identifying gaps and the remediation process
  • Provision of support with the design, implementation and remediation of controls and preparation of documentation
  • Liaison and collaboration with other pillars Network Quality Risk Management Committee in the maintenance and evolution of the firm's quality and risk procedures
  • Use and maintenance of software tools to collect, analyse and map data on objectives, risks and controls
  • Assistance in the preparation of ad hoc reports for key stakeholders

Skills and experience

The role would ideally suit those with experience in risk assessments and implementation of controls. This might be from working in an advisory role or from an audit and assurance background.
