We are currently looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their HR team. Reporting into the Senior Payroll Specialist, this role is pivotal in supporting the Payroll function and wider HR Team. Your contributions will help ensure the smooth and efficient running of payroll operations on an international scale.


Our client offers a hybrid working pattern, with 3 days a week in the office.


In this role, you can expect to be involved in:


✴️Assisting in the preparation of monthly payroll submissions for the UK and UAE with the view to expand on your jurisdiction due to growth

✴️ Handling employee payroll queries with accuracy and efficiency.

✴️ Supporting manual payroll calculations as needed.

✴️ Acting as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, working closely with HR and Finance teams

✴️ Contributing to projects focused on automation and process improvement within payroll.

✴️ Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting to ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., P60s, P45s, P11Ds).


What our client is looking for:

  • Around 2-3 years of experience working in an internal payroll team
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within financial services, technology, or similar industries.
  • A solid understanding of payroll processes and statutory regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
