Our Conveyancing team is expanding, and we are delighted to be recruiting for a Legal Administrator, internally known as Legal PA. This is an exciting role which will see you working closely with our Legal Conveyancers to provide them with day-to-day support, ensuring they deliver exceptional standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with and building relationships with clients, dealing with any ongoing matters, client queries and correspondence.
- Proofreading of legal documentation to ensure these are produced to a high standard.
- Providing dedicated support to fee earners whilst they provide legal services to clients, undertaking due diligence, conflict checks and all matter management processes.
- Supporting a mixed caseload of different transaction types.
- Manage fee earners’ diaries and organise meetings/appointments, alongside any other duties in support of the client-fee earner relationship.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience of working within a legal environment is essential.
- Strong communication skills with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing, including dealing directly with clients when required.
- Committed to excellent client care and enthusiasm for conveyancing work.
- The ability to manage your own workloads and use your initiative, as well as discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
