Role profile:

As an Agile Delivery Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Agile Delivery Managers to drive the adoption and implementation of agile practices, and to facilitate the smooth operational running of our business. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your expertise in agile methodologies and your strong leadership skills will enable you to guide complex global teams and partners in delivering high-quality products and services while promoting efficiency and innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Serve as a Senior Manager within the Cloud & Productivity Engineering function, responsible for enabling LSEG to be successful with Cloud & DevOps technologies
  • Delivering technology solutions in an Agile way, leading cross functional planning and co-ordinating execution
  • Lead a small team of Agile Delivery Managers, in line with LSEG values and people leader processes
  • Lead consistent agile processes and ensure their effectiveness, including portfolio backlogs, cross functional planning and value stream optimisation.
  • Lead Increment planning events, virtually and in person. Oversee the preparation activities and execution
  • Champion the consistent application of performance metrics and tooling to create clarity and diagnose warning signs.
  • Contribute to the wider running of the business, including resource planning, budgeting, reporting and operational tasks such as achieving compliance to LSEG policies.
  • Serve as an advocate for agile adoption and enable the growth in agile maturity by identifying the stepping stones of change that lead to a successful operation
  • Lead the financial processes of the function, and compliance to tracking processes
  • Coach and mentor teams to cultivate an agile culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product owners to provide work estimates and prioritise work for maximum value to the business
  • Manage and support global teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay updated on agile trends and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Drive agile transformation initiatives and support scaling of agile practices.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Demonstrable experience in leading teams of people as line manager
  • Significant Experience of working with Agile above the team level and scaling frameworks, getting multiple teams working together (e.g. Scrum of Scrums, LESS, SAFE etc
  • Proven track record in coaching and mentoring individual staff members agile teams and partners.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.
  • Proficiency in using agile collaboration and project management tools.
  • Ability to inspire change and foster an agile culture within the organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Proven experience working in Engineering roles in a Cloud Technology function
  • Proven people leader experience of small teams
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering technology solutions in an Agile way, leading cross functional planning events and other Agile ceremonies
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills distilling complex topics into clear and engaging visuals
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to influence senior business partners with a high degree of professional maturity and resilience
