As a Senior Pension Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being the lead expert assisting with the day-to-day management, administration, and maintenance of client’s pension plans in line with agreed SLAs and regulatory governance requirements.
  • Resolving any complex issues that are escalated through the appropriate channels.
  • Checking and auditing casework and providing constructive feedback.
  • Acting as a role model by providing advice and insight to your colleagues and leaders to ensure they provide an outstanding service to customers and clients and help shape how the team operates, helping with any training to improve capability through coaching.
  • Helping to embed a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging new ideas to be shared, identifying areas requiring change and helping to plan for these changes.
  • Identifying Risk mitigation and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Actively investigating, leading, and participating in business projects, quality assurance, system testing, and internal process reviews as needed.
  • Working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a Senior Administrator who has the following skills and experiences:

  • You will need a minimum of 12 months experience in Senior Pensions Administration role
  • Strong Pensions Knowledge (Defined Benefit) and awareness of scheme rules, regulations and current pension legislation
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and able to adapt to different IT systems
  • Have strong analytical skills and enjoy working with numerical data
  • Confident supporting customers and colleagues and providing them with a great experience.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, with an organised and methodical approach to work.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills, able to explain things clearly to people
  • Innovative and pro-active – always looking for improvements and thinking of different solutions to exceed customer expectations
  • Enjoy solving problems, getting to the root cause, and fixing them.
  • Work well on your own and as part of a professional and friendly team.
  • Have the right to work in the UK and are a UK resident.

You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between 08:30-17:00 with no weekends or Bank Holidays.
