About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Employment Solicitor to join our team remotely. This role is ideal for a solicitor who specializes in employment law and enjoys advising clients across various employment issues, including advisory and contentious matters. You will work with a diverse client base, offering strategic advice and legal representation on all aspects of employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employment Law Advisory: Provide expert advice on employment law matters, including contracts, policies, redundancy, TUPE, and employee relations.
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve contentious employment matters, including representing clients in Employment Tribunal cases.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with pragmatic solutions and tailored legal support.
  • Documentation: Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, settlement agreements, and HR policies.
  • Compliance and Legislation: Stay up to date with employment legislation changes and ensure client practices remain compliant.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified solicitor in the UK, with a current practising certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in employment law, including handling complex cases and Employment Tribunal representation.
  • Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills, with attention to detail and an ability to work independently.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Remote Work Setup: Ability to work independently and manage client relationships effectively in a remote environment.
