Our client is a small, dedicated firm of accountants that has been trading since 1979. Their team consists of two partners and four part-time staff members, operating from two offices in Christchurch and Warminster. They pride themselves on providing personalised accounting services to their clients while fostering a supportive and friendly working environment.

Due to the sudden passing of a valued team member, they are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join them. This position is crucial to maintaining the high standards and personalised service their clients have come to expect.

The company are open to various working arrangements to accommodate the right candidate(s) for their needs. Options include a single candidate willing to travel between the Christchurch and Warminster offices, two separate candidates based at each respective office, or one candidate based in either Christchurch or Warminster.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experience with accounting software (knowledge of Sage Payroll is a must)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel between the Christchurch and Warminster offices, if required

What will your role look like?

Client work:

  • Companies House filing
  • Sage Payroll
  • Bookkeeping on Sage, QuickBooks, etc.
  • Processing tax return forms
  • Basic accounts production

Administration:

  • Maintaining DDF files
  • Compiling sundry regular reports
  • Telephone/reception duties
  • Stationery control
  • General typing
